THE MOST AMAZING DIOR COLLIER FROM 1968

This is a truly sensational necklace from Christian Dior, in pristine condition and still with its original satin dustbag and box! It is a fantastic concoction of pierced goldtone, luscious pearls and shining clear rhinestones, a real fantasy creation. You will not see one like this again. It is formed from individual rigid pierced goldtone elements, almost coral-like in their construction. There are two types of element, seven of each, one is a wonderful rich goldtone decorated with four faux pearls, the other is completely covered in clear rhinestones. Each element is attached to its neighbor by top and bottom hinges. Thus it is flexible but sits up slighly on the neck like a collier de chien. A truly statement piece! It has a push clasp, signed 'Chr Dior 1968 Germany'. Necklace is 1 3/4" deep at its widest point. It measures 15 3/4" around its inside edges. Divine!
